We challenged ourselves to visualize a dance performance using Rokoko suits. With the support of  Dance Company eMotion e.V. who developed a powerful and original choreography to match the music, we were able to capture the movements through motion capture technology. The idea was to visualize a dance of suffering, portraying a critique of the divide between rich and poor. The piece explores the theme of suffering, serving as a visual critique of the growing divide between wealth and poverty.
Our production workflow involved Cinema 4D with Redshift for rendering. The wireframe look of the character was created in Houdini and later imported into Cinema 4D, where we applied the Rokoko motion capture data to the rigged character.
